Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Bahra University Organizes Industrial Visit to HPSEBL Solan for Practical Learning and Technical Exposure.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Bahra University successfully organized an industrial visit to the M&T Division, HPSEBL, Solan under its industrial exposure and experiential learning program. The visit aimed to provide students with practical industry knowledge and real-world exposure to transformer operations, substation functioning, and electrical power distribution systems.

During the visit, students gained hands-on understanding of the working, operation, testing, and maintenance of transformers along with the functioning of substations and modern electrical infrastructure. Technical experts from HPSEBL interacted with the students and explained various aspects of electrical power transmission, energy management, load distribution, and safety measures followed in the power sector.

The industrial exposure enabled students to connect theoretical concepts of electrical and electronics engineering with practical industrial applications. Students also learned about fault detection, equipment maintenance, electrical safety standards, and the importance of efficient power distribution in ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply.
