Bahra University Student Gaurav Sharma Wins Best Reel Award at State-Level Watershed Mahotsav Social Media Competition organised by the Himachal Pradesh Rural Development Department.

Solan, Himachal Pradesh: Gaurav Sharma (@grv_saga), an LL.M. student of the School of Law, Bahra University, Shimla Hills, has brought laurels by winning the “Best Reel” Award at the state-level Watershed Mahotsav Social Media Competition organised by the Himachal Pradesh Rural Development Department.

Gaurav was recognised for his creative reel highlighting water conservation and public awareness, showcasing the power of digital media to promote important social and environmental causes.

A national and state-level winner in multiple short film and reel competitions, Gaurav has also been honoured in New Delhi for producing a documentary video on drug awareness under the NDPS campaign. His social initiatives include work with the Legal Services Authority, Road Safety (Sadak Suraksha) and various public awareness campaigns.

Popularly known as GRV SAGA, Gaurav Sharma has built a distinctive identity as a lawyer, researcher, filmmaker, actor and cultural storyteller. His latest achievement has brought pride to the Solan region and serves as an inspiration for young people to use creativity and digital platforms for meaningful social impact.
