APPEIRC Delegation Visits Bahra University, Strengthens Educational Opportunities for North East Students

Solan: A distinguished delegation from Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission visited Bahra University on 2 March 2026 to review academic infrastructure and explore avenues of collaboration that can benefit students from the North East, particularly Arunachal Pradesh.
The delegation was led by Tsering Naksang, Chairperson APPEIRC, along with Ashok Kumar Tripathy, Secretary APPEIRC. They were accompanied by officials from Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission.
During the visit, the dignitaries toured key academic and administrative facilities and held an interactive session with the Vice-Chancellor and Deans to discuss academic standards, regulatory compliance, and institutional best practices.
The visit highlighted Bahra University’s growing role as a preferred destination for students from the North East region. The interaction also focused on expanding academic opportunities, support systems, and a welcoming campus environment for students from Arunachal Pradesh and other North Eastern states.
The engagement reaffirmed a shared commitment to strengthening quality higher education and building stronger academic connections between Himachal Pradesh and the North East region of India.
