7th Moot Court Competition at Hamirpur – Proud Achievement by Team School of Law, Bahra University, Shimla Hills.

Bahra University proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of our students at the 7th Moot Court Competition held at a private University in Hamirpur on 4th and 5th April,2026

A total of 10 teams from various institutions participated in this prestigious competition, showcasing exceptional advocacy, legal reasoning, and courtroom skills.

Representing our Bahra University, Team Code 03—comprising Deepanshu Sharma and Surya Pratap Singh as Speakers, and Ayush Sharma as Researcher—delivered an outstanding performance throughout the competition.

The team successfully advanced through the preliminary rounds and secured a place among the top 4 teams in the Semi-Finals. Demonstrating strong legal acumen, clarity of arguments, and effective rebuttals, they further progressed to the Final Round, ultimately securing the position of Runner-Up.

The Final Round was adjudged by an esteemed panel of judges including Tejasvi Sharma, Additional Advocate General, Goverment of Himachal Pradesh, and Shri Raghvendra Shukla, Senior Advocate, Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, whose valuable insights and observations enriched the competition.

Adding to this achievement, Mr. Dipanshu Sharma was honored with the prestigious title of Best Mooter, recognizing his exceptional courtroom presentation, articulation, and advocacy skills.

This achievement reflects the team’s dedication, rigorous preparation, and the department’s commitment to fostering excellence in legal education and advocacy training.
