Legal Scholar Dr. Lakshay Bansal Strengthens Bahra University’s Legacy of Excellence
The Bahra University School of Law proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of its distinguished alumnus Dr. Lakshay Bansal, a noted legal scholar, researcher, and public servant.
An alumnus of BALLB FYIP (2016–21), Dr. Bansal secured a rank in CLAT PG 2021 and completed his LL.M from Himachal Pradesh National Law University. He further achieved the rare distinction of qualifying UGC-NET twice before earning his Ph.D. from The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences on “International Commercial Mediation Laws and Singapore Convention, 2019.”
During his academic journey, Dr. Bansal earned accolades in national moot court competitions, debate championships, essay writing contests, and youth parliament activities. His research papers and articles on constitutional law, criminal justice, human rights, judicial activism, and legal reforms have been published in reputed national and international journals.
He has also presented papers at several national and international seminars and conferences on subjects including cyber law, environmental jurisprudence, human rights, juvenile justice, and constitutional law.
Dr. Bansal previously served as a Legal Researcher for various Union Ministries, including the Ministry of Law & Justice and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Currently, he is serving as a Legal and Administrative Officer with National Insurance Company Limited under the Ministry of Finance.
