Independence Day Celebrated with Pride at Bahra University

Bahra University campus resonated with the spirit of patriotism as Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and solemnity. The National Flag was hoisted by the Director – Administration in the presence of the university’s security staff, marking the beginning of the ceremony.
The event witnessed the active participation of the university’s security personnel, many of whom are ex-Army veterans, symbolising discipline, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the nation. The presence of a strong and vigilant security team highlighted Bahra University’s respect for the armed forces and national values.
On the occasion, the Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University, extended his message, stating that the ideals enshrined during the freedom movement and strengthened on Republic Day continue to guide the nation. He emphasized that unity, constitutional values, and responsible citizenship are the true pillars of a strong and progressive India, and educational institutions play a crucial role in nurturing these values among the youth.
The celebration concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment towards national integrity, peace, and service to society.
